About Karen.
I started Yoga in 1998 when I was 22 years old and I went
to a teacher called Helen who was a friend of a friend and
was just starting to teach herself. I instantly saw the attraction
of practising Yoga but shortly after, I moved house and had to
find another teacher. I started going to another great teacher
called Julie and continued to learn more and more. Then whilst
on Holiday at the South Coast, I visited the Bihar School of
Yoga in Worthing, West Sussex. This way of Yogic lifestyle
heavily influenced me then, as it still does today. Having
experienced this style, upon returning home I felt that it was
the right time to combine my Yogic experiences with those I
had gained from the Bihar School and start on the journey of
creating Karen Goss Yoga.
I researched various methods of training to become a teacher
and found that the British School of Yoga (BSY) could offer everything
I was looking for. After contacting them, I was convinced this was
the way to go, and with that, the next step of the journey had begun.
After many years of practical training and passing many exams set
by the BSY, I finally qualified and started Karen Goss Yoga on
January 6th 2004!
