It is the lowest psychic and pranic centre in the human body,
and where our Kundalini Shakti (serpent power energy) emerges.
Kundalini is the source of all energy, the aim of Yoga is to awaken
this energy through self purification and concentration of mind to
lead up through the Chakra's to Sahasrara (crown chakra) and unite
pure consciousness.
Situated At : The perineal floor in men and the cervix in women

Influences : Excretory and reproductive organs, reproductive glands and hormonal secretions
Sense Organs : Directly connected to the nose sense of smell and animal instincts
Animal : Elephant with seven trunks, which symbolise the stability and solidarity of the earth
